A self portrait a day keeps the boys away
This was a project that organically transformed from wanting to engage with my camera everyday. I thought I would challenge myself for a week and I continued it on for one year. This project was as powerful as therapy. It caused me to look at myself everyday and think of the different sides and angles of me, both in my personality and physical body. Through this practice I allowed myself to be noticed and to take up space. It felt both vulnerable and empowering. I don’t think this project is over, just on sabbatical.

Getting couple pictures is so last year. Joking, but I am starting to normalize solo-shoots. The only time we tend to get solo photos is if it is for head shots. I encourage you to get photos taken of yourself because you love yourself or want to see yourself in new light or want to have hot photos to show your grandkids someday when they can’t picture you any other way then old.

Have you ever spent so much effort and money throwing a party that brings together amazing people to realizing the only photo anyone took was of the cake? Using photography as souvineers of your event, I want to help you remember it days and years later while also allowing you to be in the moment during. I am a social fly on the wall and my favorite part of this job is allowing me into spaces that I normally would not be a part of. I have done intimate dinner parties to weddings to world conferences.
